Humorist Jeff Kramer's first play "Lowdown Lies" was a smash hit that barreled onto the Syracuse theater scene in 2007. The two-act production about a reluctant vasectomy candidate was received by sellout crowds at its debut and encore runs, it won at the area's SALT awards, and the Last Play Standing competition in Chicago.
Kramer's new full-length comedy "Reaching for Marsby" is the story of a brash, bumbling American actor Gary Blenkinsopp (Mark Eischen,) who ventures to England for the proverbial "one last shot." His misadventures at a financially strapped, provincial theater pay off in hilarious and surprising ways. Eischen starred in Kramer's first play and is known throughout the region as "Just Married Mark" (formerly "The Single Guy") on 93Q FM. The cast also features Moe Harrington, Kris Rusho, Michael O'Neill, Karis Wiggins, Brendon Cole and Peter Moller. Len Fonte will direct.
"Marsby" hits the BeVard Studio for the first three weekends in March. Tickets can be purchased
